“Malice” wins award at Golden Horse in Taipei

Golden Horse Film Project Promotion (FPP) is a Chinese-language film project matching platform enabling collaborative opportunities between filmmakers, investors and distributors. Our Taiwanese-Czech production, Malice, was selected for FPP’s section for in-development projects, where it won the Bole Film award.

This year’s FPP showcased a record 68 projects, including 40 in-development film projects, eight works-in-progress film projects and 20 series projects. 

Malice received a TWD 300,000 cash prize from Bole Film and is prioritized for future investment and funding.

Our team

Set to shoot at the end of 2023, Malice is a story of revenge, family, and the dark side of human nature unleashed on the open sea. It’s set to be shot in Taiwan with Lonely Production contributing to the production and overseeing post-production in the Czech Republic and Europe. 

Outside of FPP, Malice has been selected in numerous markets and forums, including Rotterdam Lab, Locarno Match Me!, and Berlinale Talents Tokyo.
