Bloody Fairy Tales takes five classic, beloved fairy tales... and totally defiles them. This short animated film leaves the cute and cuddly behind and pumps its stories with dark humor, cynicism, and blood. Lots of blood. These revisionings are unpredictable—full of sex, drugs, and unhappy endings. Not exactly the commercialized Disney fare we’re used to, Bloody Fairy Tales are updated looks at classics for a new generation. God help us all.
