2017_CONTEMPORARY_CIRCUS

Merging two disparate circus ensembles: Cirk La Putyka from Prague and Future Vision Acrobat from Rwanda, HIT creates a dialogue about cultural experiences and highlights the universality of the performing arts.

Future Vision Acrobat performers have clay, rubber from tractor wheels, purple sweatpants and yellow T-shirts. Cirk La Putyka performers have buildings, a stage, lights, sound equipment and a lot of other theatrical aids.

But who among them can entertain and captivate? What is the basis of theater? What can the respective ensembles learn from each other? What can they adapt?

The unique project connects acrobats, dancers, actors and musicians from Rwanda, the Czech Republic and Canada. It will be established both in Prague and directly in Rwanda.
